To earn your GRI designation, 60 Hours of Course Work. For GRI Graduates, we offer an annual LIVE Grad Course with 6 hours of CE, timely educational opportunities, and of course - excellent networking.

GRI Goes Online!

By July of 2016, the GRI program with the exception of GRAD will be offered online only.  Offering the online alternative will benefit those who would prefer to obtain the designation in one calendar year.

Earning credit for GRI Course I is easy!

The Illinois Association of REALTORS® offers TWO FAST-TRACK OPTIONS to earn the first 30 hours of GRI credit.



Proficiency Exam (Cost = $115)
IAR members may obtain full credit for completion of  the first 30 hours of GRI Course Credit by completing the Proficiency Exam - without attending any classroom course or meeting any equivalency requirements. The Proficiency exam covers the same material originally offered in the first 30 hours of the GRI program.

Equivalency Program (Cost = $75)
30+ approved courses will qualify you for the first 30 hours of GRI credit. Simply submit the $75 administration fee with a completed application to the REALTOR® Institute along with proof of completion of an approved program listed here
