Key members of the Illinois Association of REALTORS® are assigned to maintain relationships with specific members of Congress to keep them up-to-date on REALTOR® issues. They stay in touch throughout the year in the member of Congress’s home district in Illinois as well as on Capitol Hill to promote, stop and seek amendments to proposed laws that help or hurt the business of buying and selling real estate.
With property ownership as a building block to wealth and a stronger economy and property rights as paramount to personal liberty and a core value to our nation, we as an industry must stand up for these principals to keep both our county and our industry the strongest and best that it can be! FPCs work to make a difference in your day-to-day business.
